The Indian Football Club, Mumbai City FC has been selected for the Group D Asian Football Confederation Champion League 2023-24. In Group D there is the Brazillian Footballer Neymar’s team AI-Hilal team.
In the last season, Saudi Arabia’s AI-Hilal lost in the Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan, the AFC Champion League. But this time with Neymar from PSG, is in AI-Hilal has strengthened.
Nemanja Matic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and Dynamo Ruben Neves are in the team of AI-Hilal, who is the four-time AFC Champions League champions. Apart from AI-Hilal, there are other teams Mumbai City has to face including FC Nassaji Mazandaran of Iran and Navbahor of Uzbekistan.
The teams are divided into Two groups West Zone and East Zone. Five teams from the Western Zone(groups A, B, C, D, E) and five teams from the Eastern Zone(groups F, G, H, I, J).
We have high hopes for Mumbai City FC, who won the Indian Super League Shiled in this year. For the second consecutive season, Mumbai City FC is going to compete in the AFC Champion League.
